To ensure safe and efficient service, we ask that all work areas be cleared of:
• Outdoor furniture
• Pet toys, garden tools, or children’s equipment
• Any other obstacles that may block access or pose safety risks

💰 Transparent Payment Terms
• Outdoor Projects (Pergolas, Decks, Fences, Kitchens): Require a 60% material deposit before project start; remaining balance due at completion.
• Lawn Care: Payment due on the day of service or within 24 hours.
• Late Payments: 10% late fee added to unpaid balances after 30 days; we reserve the right to pursue legal enforcement when necessary.

📜 Texas Lien Policy for Non-Payment
In accordance with Texas law, we reserve the right to file a mechanic’s lien on your property for non-payment of services rendered.
• We charge a minimum of 8 hours to prepare and process a lien.
• Our lien rate is $250 per hour, billed to the customer responsible for the unpaid balance.
• Filing of a lien includes legal preparation, notice delivery, and administrative documentation.

📑 Change Orders & Additional Work
Any work requested outside the original scope will be considered a change order. Change orders must be approved in writing and may result in additional charges. Verbal changes are not accepted.

⛈️ Weather & Unforeseen Conditions
Weather delays or site conditions (e.g., roots, underground utilities, pest infestations, drainage problems) may affect timelines and costs. We will notify clients promptly, but are not responsible for delays beyond our control.

🧾 Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for notifying us of any known underground utilities, irrigation systems, or special access requirements. Handyman Lawns LLC is not liable for damage to unmarked or unnotified utilities. Permits, if required, must be secured by the homeowner unless otherwise agreed in writing.

📸 Photography & Marketing Use
We reserve the right to photograph completed work for our portfolio, website, and promotional use. No personal identifying information will be shared.

🔧 Workmanship Guarantee
We offer a 30-day workmanship guarantee on most services. This excludes damage caused by weather, third parties, pets, or normal wear and tear. Any materials used are subject to their manufacturer warranties.

🚪 No-Show & Access Policy
If our crew arrives and is unable to access the property or begin work due to customer absence or obstacles, a $100 minimum no-show fee may be charged.

⚖️ Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas and resolved in a court of Williamson County, Texas. Both parties agree to attempt good faith mediation before pursuing legal action.

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of war, pandemic, supply chain disruptions, or government restrictions.

Handyman Lawns LLC is fully licensed and insured. In the rare case of accidental property damage, our general liability insurance protects both your investment and peace of mind.

All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations after scheduling will result in forfeiture of the deposit to cover time, materials, and labor scheduling.
